Wealth Management - (St James's Place Partnership)
The MSc in Wealth Management has been developed for St James’s Place Partnership to prepare delegates for management career progression in the wealth management sector through development of their technical knowledge and skills and their conceptual and analytical abilities.
The programme seeks to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to contribute towards the functional and strategic management of their organisation, to develop strategic thinking and analytical capability, to identify ways in which theory can be applied in practice to complex issues and to foster a broader understanding in areas of particular interest by undertaking research.
The programme is offered on a part-time basis. The minimum period of study for the award of MSc is thirty calendar months.
Delivery is via a combination of block-release short residential courses at Loughborough, distance learning and assessed work-based assignments and projects, with learning methods tailored to participants’ needs.
The programme starts with an induction event and consists of a number of core modules.
To ensure maximum benefit and relevance to both the participant and the organisation, the topic of work-based assignments and projects is agreed between the participant and the University to address a problem directly impacting upon the participant’s work area.
