Trade Mark Law and Practice PGCert

About the course

This Certificate programme starts in mid-September and initially runs as a two-week intensive course, followed by ten two-day sessions between October and April. You will sit exams at various points throughout the programme. 

The programme consists of four compulsory modules.

Your intensive two-week induction period in September will cover the fundamentals of English law and professional ethics and introductory elements of the designs and copyright law, and trade mark law and Practice A modules. 

From October to April, you will then have a series of two-day study sessions that cover the rest of the Trade Mark Law and Practice A module, Designs and Copyright Law module, and Trade Mark Law and Practice B modules. These study sessions usually take place on Fridays and Saturdays.
