About the course

Our multidisciplinary Tissue Engineering & Innovation Technology MRes offers you the opportunity to undertake research in a rapidly evolving field of regenerative medicine where improved patient outcomes come from new developments in orthopaedics, bone substitutes, 3D printing for customized implants and prostheses, dental restoratives and drug delivery. Our research addresses fundamental challenges in biomedicine and dentistry, and aims to create a step-change in the way biological systems are deciphered that goes well beyond current state of the art. You will work with academics directing a wide range of cutting-edge research projects, with emphasis on turning early-stage innovations into new health products.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 2:1 honours in Life Sciences, Biomedical Materials, Dentistry, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacology, Materials Science or related courses, Bioengineering & Biotechnology.

Applicants with a bachelor's (first) degree in subjects above with 2:2 honours who have a master's degree or evidence of research experience in related disciplines will be considered.
