The MIT-Portugal Program is a collaboration involving MIT and government, academia, and industry in Portugal to develop education and research programs related to engineering systems. Technology Management Enterprise is an intensive one-year program that trains technical managers for product development and production systems. Students will also learn management skills including human resources competences for bridging complex technical and management issues under a demanding production environment. TME graduates will be capable of leading multidisciplinary teams in product development and manufacturing operations. Lectures and industry-related thesis. Fluency in English; Background in mechanical, electronic, industrial, chemistry or material/polymers engineering. Other technical education background may be considered, e.g., mathematics or physics. Strong motivation in developing a career in technical or production management, preferably with previous professional experience in an industrial environment.
