Our Sustainability and Consultancy Masters degree offers a grounding in the broad range of sustainability topics beyond just environmental issues - from project development to corporate sustainability strategy. A bachelor degree with a 2:1 (hons) in a natural, environmental, physical, geographical, management or social science subject.
This course is ideal if you have enthusiasm for environmental debate and concern over the future sustainability of human and environmental systems.
Applicants with a 2:2, or equivalent, will be considered on a case by case basis where applicants can demonstrate relevant work experience or aptitude in a relevant specialist field. Graduates from other disciplines and those with professional experience in the sector will also be considered.

What has been the best aspect of studying on your course and at the University so far and why?
In general, I have learnt to critically analyse my actions and the surroundings in a better way. From the course perspective, I have learnt to value and understand the importance of cohesion between living and non-living things within the ecosystem.
Tell us about some of the exciting projects you have completed.
I have done a lot of interesting projects. To pick one would be injustice, but I enjoyed chairing meetings as a school rep, I loved group presentations, made me feel accomplished.
Leeds as a city has got lot to offer specially between September and Christmas, with events almost every week. It is a fantastic place to live if you fall in love with its people and be open minded with all the stuff that happens around you.
What experiences at Leeds do you think will help you in your future career?
I have become more wiser in thinking and decision making.
What would you say to students coming to do the same course?
Be open-minded, stop sweating the small stuff. Take life as it comes to you and you will be happy at the end of the journey. Before you know it, this journey will be over. So look around!
