This course provides the essential framework concepts and toolkit required for the strategic management of humanitarian logistics and the supply chain. In addition to studying key skills concerning the effective and efficient management of the supply chain you will also learn about humanitarian problems caused by a range of current trends, such as migration in the Mediterranean, the use of chemical weapons, desertification and global inequality.
Within a business context, it is now recognised that one of the main ways in which competitive advantage can be gained, is through the effective and efficient management of the supply chain. An Honours degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent professional qualification, in any subject.
Applicants with other appropriate professional qualifications and/or experience will be considered on an individual basis.

Band 3 - £8,500 p/a
The cost of the 6 month placement element will be an additional £750.
