The Strategic Marketing MSc degree aims to develop a strategic marketing focus and link it to the strategy process within an organisation. It emphasises customer care as well as competitive advantage.

The MSc Strategic Marketing is suited to graduates seeking career development and opportunities at management level with strategic and operational responsibilities in marketing. Previous graduates have secured exciting and rewarding positions in a wide variety of marketing areas such as brand management, creative advertising development, working with the leading organisations worldwide such as Airbus, Millward Brown, Silverstone and many others.
Accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), this course is also mapped for maximum exemptions against the CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing. This means that you have the opportunity to work towards achieving the CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing while studying and may graduate with an enhanced qualification that is highly sought after by employers. Our students need only complete two units of the Diploma to gain the qualification in full.
With appropriate work experience you will be eligible for Associated/Member status from CIM and awarded designatory letters ACIM/MCIM. With this you will be well on your way to Chartered Marketer status, the mark of an up-to-date, qualified and experienced marketing professional (additional fees may apply).
As part of the Strategic Marketing MSc degree students have the option of enrolling on the internship programme.
This module normally lasts between 8–12 weeks and provides students with an opportunity to undertake a workplace project on behalf of an organisation.

Students must successfully meet the following assessment criteria: -Academic: successfully complete all Semester 1 modules including research methods at the first attempt; -CV shortlisting: submit a CV, which will be used for competitive short listing by the internship panel; -Presentation: prepare and successfully deliver a formal presentation; -Interview: interview with the university internship panel.
After completing the Internship, you are required to write an extensive report based on the managerial and educational experience derived from the internship itself and present your findings to both the employers and academic staff.
