This is an exclusive course aimed at professionals who hold qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or affiliate qualifications.
This course presents an opportunity for qualified accountants to gain an academic qualification by studying just two units -Academic and Professional Development and your Dissertation.
The Academic and Professional Development unit will equip you with the knowledge and skills to identify and investigate accounting and finance strategies and practices used by organisations.
The dissertation will provide you with the opportunity to undertake a significant applied research project that looks into a particular accounting issue of interest to you. This research will usually take place in an organisational setting.
This programme is not suitable for overseas students.

Through advanced standing we can give you academic credit for your current qualifications. Consequently you only need to study selected units and can achieve an MSc in a shorter time frame. The tuition fees for this route are also lower because you only pay for the units you need to take rather than having to study all the units for the MSc. • This programme is delivered by academics with professional qualifications in Accounting alongside business consultants whose skills and expertise have been underpinned by academic study and several years experience delivering professional training programmes to both individuals and organisations operating within the sector.
