You will develop an in-depth understanding of psychology and will adopt a critical approach to its application within sport and exercise settings.

Through your core modules, you will evaluate psychological theories and examine issues such as self-determination, psychological resilience and the effects of exercise on mood.

Using a systematic, evidence-informed and ethical approach to your work, you will also analyse biological, cultural and environmental factors that can influence sport performance and physical activity.

To further support your professional development, you could apply your expertise and develop your practical skills working under supervision with a variety of client groups, including elite and recreational athletes, teams, coaches and sedentary individuals.

A member of our experienced course team will be on hand to support you throughout your learning journey, offering personalised advice to aid your professional development and help you realise your career aspirations.
