The department offers programs of study in speech, language, and hearing sciences. This includes clinical education in speech-language pathology (M.A.-SLP) and audiology (Au.D.). There are also opportunities related to neuroscience and cognitive science. As professionals and behavioural scientists, students study the receptive and productive aspects of normal and pathological communication. Our clinical education programs in speech-language pathology and audiology lead to professional credentials including the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Colorado State Licensure, and Colorado Department of Education licensure to work in the public schools. Students have access to a wide range of clinical education opportunities in schools, hospitals, and clinics throughout the metro Boulder and Denver area.
