Course content

The MA in Special and Inclusive Education examines a wide range of professional issues about special educational needs in special and mainstream schools and other learning environments. It is concerned with issues associated with DfES policy, legislation and, in particular, the implications of inclusion for learning, teaching and pupil performance.

The course is modular, offering flexibility of study patterns. It is suitable for part-time and full-time students. Part-time students can achieve the MA in two years. Alternatively modules can be planned around longer term professional and career objectives.
