About the course

This exciting course, which is delivered online, is a collaboration between the University of East London and the Institute of Child Education and Psychology Europe (ICEP).

Underpinned by the latest research in special education, the course builds on participants’ existing skills and competencies. The aim is to enhance the quality of education for children and young people with special and additional learning needs in settings worldwide.

The course has an international flavour, drawing students from countries such as Australia, Hong Kong, Kuwait, UAE, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand. It does not just focus on the UK but also looks at how policy is implemented around the world.

Entry Requirements

Minimum 2:2 Honours. We will also consider a certificate of education; higher level professional training in SEN with demonstrable parity in experience.

As an inclusive university we recognise that applicants who have been out of education for some time may not have the formal qualifications usually required for entry to a course. Where an applicant does not meet the above requirements, consideration may be given to other recognised graduate equivalent status and/or professional experience.
