The one year Postgraduate Diploma in Education leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as well offering 120 credits towards our MA Teaching Studies. All applicants to Secondary PGDipEd (QTS) programmes must hold a degree from a UK HEI (or an equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject, as well as GCSE grade 4* or above (or equivalent) in mathematics and English.

Belen always wanted to be a teacher and since early age she worked with young children as a private tutor. Her passion for mathematics made her study a degree in Mathematics at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (Spain). After that, looking for a new challenge, she decided to move to England, to accomplish her dream of being a teacher studying at the University of Birmingham.
