As a teacher of history, you’ll bring the past to life and teach your pupils how historical events can be interpreted in a variety of ways sparking passionate debate and the development of a range of skills. Full support will be given throughout the course by an experienced history specialist to enhance your classroom practice. Entry Requirements
A second-class honours degree, or international equivalent.
Degree must include:
120 SCQF credits in history. 80 of these SCQF credits should come from at least one of the following subjects:
British history
Scottish history
European history
World history
a maximum of 40 SCQF credits from ancient history is acceptable
