Training to become an English teacher gives you the opportunity to share your passion for the subject, inspiring and shaping the lives of your students.
An ordinary degree, or international equivalent.
Degree must include:
at least 80 SCQF credits in English. 40 of these SCQF credits should come from at least one of the following subjects:
English literature (this can include English Translation of original foreign language texts)
Scottish literature
a maximum of 20 SCQF credit points in media studies
