Computing skills are quickly becoming integral to success in the modern world where technology is developing at a rapid rate. The course offers a wide spread of university and school-based learning experiences to ensure students are well equipped to enter the teaching profession.

Entry Requirements

An ordinary degree, or international equivalent.

Degree must include:

at least 80 SCQF credits in computing. 40 of these SCQF credits should come from at least two of the following subjects:
computer systems
software development
databases
web design
the other 40 SCQF credits are required in any computing area relevant to the computing curriculum in Scotland
