Science Education and Communication

Course Description

The Science Education and Communication MSc programme builds on a Bachelor of Science degree. The MSc deepens your previous science and engineering knowledge as well as introduces you in education and science communication topics. The MSc provides you with knowledge and skills to get the message across. You will be able to design and deliver effective communication and education in the science and technology domain.

The rapidity of developments in science and technology leads to very far-reaching changes in society. Decision makers and members of the general public often find it difficult to understand the implications of these changes.

As a science communication engineer you will be in a position to facilitate dialogue and effective knowledge transfer between scientists and key players in industry and government. In addition, you will function as a bridge between science and technology, and society at large, thus helping society to make informed choices in the technological field.

The MSc SEC can be combined with other MSc-programmes in order to obtain a double degree.
