About the course

The new Research MSc in Water and Sustainable Development will prepare you for a career in research, academia or to pursue a PhD.

What you can expect

During the course of the 22-month (120EC) Delft-based programme, you will develop academic and cognitive competences to create new knowledge and solutions needed to address complex water challenges in inclusive and sustainable ways.

Interdisciplinary

Because most water problems transcend a single discipline, the programme adopts a multi- and interdisciplinary approach, whilst building a depth of knowledge in your own field of interest.

Entry Requirements

A Bachelor degree at level B/B+ (US system) or upper 2nd (British system) in an appropriate field which has been awarded by a university of recognised standing.

A good command of the English language, if this is not the first language. All non-native English-speaking applicants must satisfy the English language requirements for IHE Delft's educational programmes.

A strong motivation to successfully complete the programme. Applicants need to submit a motivation statement and participate in an interview.

Work or other relevant research experience, e.g. as research assistant, is considered an asset, but not a strict requirement.
