About the course

Our Regenerative Medicine and Devices MRes provides the opportunity to develop your scientific and translational research skills within an evolving discipline where major clinical conditions are treated by pioneering implants, tissue engineering constructs, cell- and gene-therapy, and nanomedicines.

The Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Devices research focuses on pathological and traumatic conditions of significant socio-economic impact. This informs the development of pioneering treatments for neurodegenerative diseases and sensory dysfunctions, diabetes, wound healing, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal diseases. You will work alongside internationally recognised academics, postdoctoral and other postgraduate researchers.

Entry Requirements

A 2:1 degree in a relevant subject. Students with a degree that does not fall within this category but who have significant relevant experience, will also be considered.

ATAS requirements: The JACS code for this course is B900, meaning that students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland will have to apply for an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate before they apply for a visa. Details can be found on the gov.uk website.

English language requirements: IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each element.
