About the course
The MSc Real Estate Finance programme will help you understand real estate in the context of the international financial markets. You will learn the quantitative and conceptual skills needed to make the complex decisions in the real estate finance sector. The programme also places property investment into context with equity, fixed income and financial derivative products.
This Masters programme is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. It is also recognised by the Investment Property Forum, facilitating fast-track membership.
Entry Requirements
2:1 degree, or equivalent, from an internationally recognised university. Evidence of satisfactory quantitative ability is required.
Degree discipline: Business and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences or Engineering.
Applicants for our full-time Real Estate programmes are generally expected to have obtained an upper second-class honours degree or equivalent. The academic requirement for mature students may be relaxed in light of relevant professional experience.

Eligibility
All Africa domiciled offer holders who have applied for the MSc Real Estate or MSc Real Estate Finance who have not previously studied outside their home country.
Shortlisting and selection are based on academic merit and the candidates' responses to the questions in the application form.
If offered a scholarship it must be accepted within 4 weeks of the scholarship offer date. After this deadline, scholarship offers may be withdrawn and reallocated.
Application Procedure
Application is via the University of Reading applicant portal once an offer has been made. You can only apply when you have received an offer (conditional or unconditional). When you view your offer in the portal you will see the link to apply for scholarship(s) relevant to your offer. You cannot apply via the website.
