The MSc in Public Leadership will be a unique, challenge-based learning programme that reflects our commitment to our Public Value strategy. We are uniquely placed to offer this programme with close links between research and practice, and our challenge-centred approach.
The programme is targeted at employees across a wide range of public services with five to ten years’ experience and aspirations to progress to senior roles, and who are motivated to make a difference in response to the complex and interdependent issues arising in the current and future service environment.
Designed around a series of modules that will be facilitated by academic and practitioner teams, the focus will be on evaluating evidence from research and practice in live settings, case studies and consultancy problems

This Programme is suitable for graduates or experienced practitioners from a variety of specialisms, such as education, environmental protection, fire and rescue, health care, housing, planning, policing, and social services, who have the talent and drive to lead public and voluntary services in their continuing improvement.
Applicants should normally hold a first or upper second class Honours degree in a relevant subject area and have at least 3 years’ related professional experience.
Non-graduates with professional qualifications or significant work experience may also be considered.
