SARS and Ebola, health inequality, debate about health service restructuring and provision: public health is constantly in the news – and this course will equip you to meet the challenges.

You could be working in a public health-related role already or are ambitious to enter the field. In either case you’ll find a wealth of valuable content here, taught by expert tutors and researchers.

Our course takes a modern approach to public health, by directly addressing the social, economic, political and other factors that influence population health and well-being.

The taught aspects explore the field both globally and locally and are applicable to any country or health system. You’ll learn how to apply advanced theory and techniques to practical scenarios.

Your programme will culminate in planning, researching and writing your Masters project. This can be research or work-based, focusing on your areas of particular interest.
