Course content

The MA Psychotherapy & Counselling provides an intermediate pre-professional training, and includes taught, clinical, experiential and self-directed components.

Upon completion you will be able to go on to the final stage of training that leads to eligibility for UKCP membership as an integrative or existential psychotherapist.

Please note that we are not able to sponsor students on this programme for a Tier 4 visa.

‌•Gain knowledge of research methods and carry out an in-depth ethical investigation into a relevant topic
‌•Start to develop an individual approach to the practice of psychotherapy and counselling

Future opportunities

Upon completion of the programme you will be eligible to progress to one of our Advanced Diploma courses (in Integrative or Existential Psychotherapy), which is the final stage of training that leads to eligibility for UKCP membership.
