About the course
If your interests lie in the psychology of health and illness, this MSc offers you a suite of relevant modules. The course aims to enable you to make informed judgements on complex health issues across diverse areas, and to communicate ideas and proposals effectively to diverse audiences.
Our psychology research facilities include state-of-the-art brain imaging electroencephalogram (EEG), eye tracking equipment and a range of experiment and research software. We provide access and a high standard of support for use of these facilities.
Entry Requirements
You must hold an upper second- or first-class award at undergraduate level in an allied-health science degree. Students who do not meet the upper second award requirement may be considered under one of the following conditions:
- They can demonstrate evidence of practical experience in an area relevant to the psychology of health and illness
- They have attained an additional qualification which is relevant to the psychology of health and illness
- They can show evidence of attainments during their undergraduate degree which indicates strengths in psychology of health and illness.
