Having such a research active Psychology Department at Manchester Met, I have been inspired by published research as it exemplifies the academic standard to which I should aspire to replicate in my own research and is beneficial for my personal research objectives.
The collegial environment encouraged by the Department of Psychology is hugely inspiring, both on a student to student level but also between staff and students. At Manchester Met, you have the ability to debate and discuss with staff beyond course or unit requirements.
Being a mature part-time student, there is always the potential to drift through courses. However, my personal experience of Manchester Met couldn’t be further from this. I strongly believe the university values and appreciates all of its students, and encourages everyone to engage and reach their potential
