The PG-Cert in Professional Practice enables practitioners, from a wide range of backgrounds, to work together to develop the skills and knowledge required to become competent practitioners and leaders in professional practice and to develop professional skills, knowledge and understanding though work.
The course is for professional practitioners who have completed the preceptorship period (or similar) and who have a commitment to the enhancement of personal and professional development in their own area of professional and/or clinical practice.
Throughout the programme you will be encouraged, though critical reflective practice, to explore contemporary professional practice in your own field of practice and within a wider integrated and inter-professional

The minimum entry requirements for the Postgraduate Certificate Professional Practice will be:
- First Degree (minimum 2:2) and above OR evidence of higher level study undertaken within the last five years
- Applicants will have a clinical (or other) professional qualification, and ideally will have at least one year’s relevant clinical / professional experience in a health or social care environment.
