Those who ignore trends in the automotive industry quickly loose competitive advantage – and in the worst case even a whole business. With the so called industry 4.0, production processes have become digitalised allowing for cross-border manufacturing - just in time and sequence. High attention has also been drawn by visionary developments such as autonomous driving, connected cars or e-mobility. These developments call for a new generation of leaders with the ability of interdisciplinary and interconnected thinking in an uncertain and complex environment
The Professional MBA Automotive Industry - offered by TU Wien in cooperation with Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU Bratislava) - provides a new generation of leaders with the know-how, visions and analytical skills to be aware of risks as well as trends in the automotive industry.
The international MBA provides a profound insight into business-related topics as well as into the specific structures and processes of the automotive and supplier industry with a special focus on production, logistics and industry 4.0. Graduates of this program will posses profound knowledge of management within this industry and should be able to identify short-term as well as long-term challenges, to structure complex, dynamic projects, to manage independently a project using project management tools, to make right decisions in complex and difficult situations, to stay abreast of national as well as international changes.
