About the course

This programme is designed for students who want to work in the field of Production Management within TV, Film and DigitalMedia. You will gain practical industry experience of the planning, organization, execution and delivery of TV production in the genres of documentary, studio and drama.  

You will gain hands-on experience of analysing and managing production workflows and develop key skillsets including creative problem solving and people management.

Located in the heart of MCUK, you will have the opportunity to network with industry production managers in seminars, masterclasses, tuition and industry-aligned projects. Entry Requirements

A good honours degree (2:1 or above) but but appropriately experienced applicants will be considered for entry in line with the University’s APL procedure.

International students

International applicants will be required to show a proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 6.5 (with no element below 5.5) is proof of this.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be applying for the first year of full-time study on this programme, or another eligible postgraduate master’s programme in the 2021-22 academic year. You must hold an offer for an eligible programme, achieve at least a second-class degree and meet your offer conditions by the admission's deadline.

You may apply for this scholarship if you have already been awarded a different scholarship. However, in line with the University of Salford terms and conditions, you can only receive one scholarship - the one with the highest value.

Application Procedure

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. You will be assessed when you apply for your chosen programme of study for the 2021-22 intake. If you are successfully offered this scholarship, you must accept your offer of admission and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline specified in order to receive the funding.
