About the course

Entry Requirements

A bachelor degree, usually 2.1 or 1st, relevant to the subject or phase (primary, secondary etc.) you want to teach
GCSE grade C / grade 4, or equivalent, in mathematics and English. All primary applicants must also hold grade C, or equivalent in a science subject.
We also accept equivalency tests by Equivalency Testing, A Star Teachers or other appropriately accredited providers if the testing arrangements have been approved by the ITT team at Middlesex. We cannot accept functional skills or key skills.


Fees

There are no fees for an apprenticeship training teacher. Postgraduate teacher apprentices working in maintained schools must be paid in accordance with at least point one on the unqualified teachers’ pay scale whilst on the programme. Apprentices should be paid as full-time employees.
