Acupuncture holds a unique position in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) because it is, primarily, a preventive technique, i.e. it is used to maintain health rather than treat pathological symptoms. It can also have a large impact on functional pathologies; its only limits are in treating lesions.
In the course proposed, we will study:
-Energetic anatomy, the 12 meridians or energy channels, as well as the role of their control points according to three large functional energetic levels. -Energetic physiology as traditionally described in reference works, as well as the great symbols of ancient traditional Chinese culture and thought.
