About the course

The Postgraduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination and the Leadership of Inclusion considers learner diversity, including disability, special educational needs and disadvantage to address global priorities in education, such as inclusion and equity.

The course develops your knowledge and skills to become a research-informed leader of more socially just practices and policies that support the access, participation and success of all learners across a setting.

Entry Requirements

Honours degree from a UK university, or a recognised non-UK university. Recent professional experience of three years or more will also be positively considered (you will be interviewed and must provide portfolio evidence of significant professional engagement in education/services for children at graduate equivalent level and/or a piece of written text. This sets out details of your relevant career pathway, including a summary of your responsibilities relating to children and young people in schools/other settings. International students must present evidence of having IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5, assessed through writing and interview.
