About the course

The field of surface coating within the leather industry is becoming increasingly important in the final performance of leather products with graduates continually being expected to have an in-depth and critical view of this specific part of the leather manufacturing process. The finishing of automotive leather is required to comply with stringent quality performance specifications.

The PGCert Leather Finishing – Automotive is developed to further the knowledge of a leather or science graduate in this field. The programme aims to provide students with critical and analytical skills to both practice and critically review automotive leather finishing at postgraduate level.
