The Post-graduate Program in Cooperation and Development features a 15-month schedule with more than 500 hours of classes and seminars. It has a special focus on inclusive development. The Program is full time and is fully taught in English. It is jointly organized by the University of Pavia and the Institute of Advanced Study of Pavia-IUSS and it is carried out with the significant support of three Italian NGO’s, namely CISP, COOPI, and VIS.
The Master in Cooperation and Development course since 1997 focuses on understanding and addressing the political, economic, social and cultural challenges that can lead to inequality, poverty and vulnerability and aims at achieving Sustainable Human Development.

Master’s Degree in subjects related to the Program (at least 4 years of University studies):
Mastery of English is a mandatory requirement.
Cooperation is not only a vocation but also a profession which requires preparation, focus, sensibility and sound skills.
Individuals working in this sector should demonstrate good decision-making and organizational skills, and at the same time be able to carry out their work in a creative, independent and flexible manner.
Tuition fees are 8000 euro.
Financial aid will be granted to disadvantaged and meritorious students. Types of financial aid provided are:
- total waiving of fees
- partial waiving of fees
- contribution to the accommodation cost in Pavia
- contribution to internship expenses
