What is Physiotherapy (Pre-registration) MSc?
Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability’ (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, nd.) As a physiotherapist you can make a valuable contribution to the health and wellbeing of people affected by illness, injury or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. The programme adopts a holistic, person-centred approach that places people at the centre of decision making and empowers patients and their families through education and engagement.
Entry Requirements
Completed an honours degree in the last five years, achieving 2:1 or 1st class award or be predicted to achieve this grade. Your previous degree should be in biological sciences, sports science / therapy, or a healthcare course with significant anatomy and physiology components.
GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics C grade or above (grades 4-9).
Demonstrate and discuss your work experience in physiotherapy, ideally within the NHS or hospital setting. This can be evidenced in a personal statement that forms part of the application process and will be discussed during interview.
