Entry Requirements

Applicants should have:

A BSc honours degree normally at 2.2 or above (or equivalent level qualification in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy or pharmaceutical science

OR substantial workplace experience.

Our Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent is home to our Faculty of Engineering and Science. The Campus boasts teaching and living spaces within a few minutes’ walk from each other. There are industry-standard labs for science, engineering, pharmacy and natural resources, as well as a huge library and The Deep End, a £4.6-million social and entertainment space.

Across the road from the campus is a retail park with a nine-screen cinema, bars, restaurants and outlet stores. The campus is about 30 miles from central London, and it has a dedicated university bus service to the other two campuses in London.

Engineering

We offer taught MSc courses in civil and environmental engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, engineering management, oil, gas and shipping, and mechanical engineering. You can also study an MSc by research or an MPhil/PhD.

Science

We also offer degrees in a broad range of sciences, including agricultural science, biological and biomedical science, environmental science, food science and pharmacy. Within the faculty is the Natural Resources Institute, a multidisciplinary research and teaching centre. It also includes the Medway School of Pharmacy, a collaboration with the University of Kent which is recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will develop your analytical and practical capabilities in our state-of-the-art laboratories.
