This programme is designed to meet the continuous professional development needs of professionally qualified social workers who are employed in a social work role. It comprises a wide range of postgraduate modules suitable for social workers working in any setting and at various stages of their career, including undertaking practice, management, regulatory and training roles.
Modules are available relating to all the core areas of social work practice: family and child care, mental health, disability, older people and criminal justice.

A second class honours degree (or higher)an equivalent standard (normally 50%) in a graduate certificate or graduate diplomaa postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma or an approved alternative qualificationBe registered with NISCC as a qualified social worker. Be enrolled with the PQ Office (NISCC)Be engaged for at least 12 hours per week in a paid or voluntary capacity in a post in which core social work values underpin practice, and which provides a supervised opportunity to practice social work in a professional role.Have the support of your employer, or supervisor of voluntary work, to undertake study.
