Our 40-week, full-time course gives you the opportunity to gain a specialist practitioner qualification in District Nursing (CSPDN).
Applicants for PgDip will normally have a first degree in a relevant subject, with a minimum of a 2:2 classification and demonstrate the ability to study independently at level 7.
Additionally, all applicants will have completed a period of experience of sufficient length to have consolidated preregistration outcomes and to have gained a deeper understanding in relevant professional practice. You must be supported in practice for the duration of the course by an appropriately qualified practice supervisor and practice assessor. You must also meet the NMC specific entry requirements for the Specialist Practitioner Qualification.
