A second or first class honours degree in English Literature, English Language, Linguistics or a joint honours degree with at least 50% of these subjects. Applicants with non-English degrees must have a B in English Language or English Literature at A-level and will be required to attend a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course.
Three A-levels at grades C, C, D or above.
Minimum grade C or 4 at GCSE (or equivalent) in English language and mathematics.
