Student Profile(s)

Mehnaz Nazir

I’m really proud of my achievements. I started my NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Child Care Learning and Development in 2007. UCB offered this at a local primary school where my children went and I decided that this was my first step in training to eventually become a Primary School Teacher. I really appreciated the support I received. The staff are amazing.

On completion of the level 2 & 3 I decided to then apply for the BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies also available at UCB. This was tough with a young family so I had to ensure that I was organised and I managed my time effectively. It was hard work but very worthwhile.

I completed my PGCE in 2015 and I now teach Year one pupils at a local primary school.
