If you aren't in a position to return to school full-time and would like to work at your own pace the part-time program is a great option. You can break the "management barrier" in your career by upgrading your skills without having to take time off from work.
As a part-time student you can take one or two courses per term, depending on what works best for you. You can even take terms off if things get too busy. You can choose from day or evening classes, or a combination.
Courses are taught at the Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington, right off the QEW highway. If you live in the Greater Toronto Area you can easily get to class by car or GO Transit. There's also a shuttle bus which runs from McMaster's Hamilton campus to the RJC.
Length: Variable. It takes most students 4 to 5 years.
Number of courses: 20
Program specific notes:
You can take a maximum of 2 classes per term. You have the option of taking complete terms off. You have up to 8 years to complete your degree. You can take day or evening courses. Classes for evening courses are held once a week and usually run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
