Online Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction


Course Description

The online Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction was designed to meet the growing needs of educators for a program that is both competitive and unique while also responsive to current research in education. The program provides the academic foundation you need to take on leadership roles and to make significant contributions to the future of children, youth, and families. In the online M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction program, you will develop a newfound energy and passion for teaching as well as working with your peers. You will also enhance your critical thinking, writing, and collaboration skills.

Entry Requirements

•Completion of a B.A. from an accredited institution, preferably in a field related to education•An overall undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.8•Two years of teaching or administrative experience in a school setting is preferred. •Two recommendation letters, at least one of which must be from the candidate's supervisor and speak directly to the applicant's intellectual capacity and ability to be successful in master's level work •A current résumé•A typed, one-page, single-spaced personal statement articulating your reasons for pursuing graduate study in education and how the degree will help you attain your personal goals
