Mental health problems currently affect one in four of the UK population. If you’re caring and compassionate, with exceptional communication skills and a real passion for helping people, this course is for you.
You will need:
Education
Essential: Grade C (or Grade 4) maths and English (or equivalent)
Essential: Honours degree 2:2 or above
Desirable: Experience of education or study within the last five years
Work Experience
Essential: 800hrs of work experience in a service user context obtained in the last five years
Desirable: Paid employment
Applicants must complete an occupational health assessment and Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the selection process and any offer made will be subject to these.
