Develop the skills and confidence to become a safe prescriber within clinical work settings while gaining a Nursing and Midwifery Council-accredited qualification. You will underpin your theoretical learning with supervised practice.
As a nurse, midwife and/or specialist public health nurse, gain the knowledge and skills to become a safe non-medical prescriber. Studying one day per week over a period of 21 taught days for a Level 6 or Level 7 qualification, you will enhance your ability to provide holistic care that meets the requirements of patients within clinical work settings. Accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the programme is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and competency required to undertake the role of an Independent or Supplementary Non-Medical Prescriber.
