About the course

Our MSc in User Experience Design develops your understanding of significant issues in consumer technology, interaction design, and user experience (UX) design. These are the issues graduates must master to be effective UX Design Professionals.

The programme develops your skills and competencies in UX Design’s creative and analytical aspects while you work on a diverse range of projects. We offer you the opportunity to design experiences that embed digital technology in the physical world, including artificial intelligence (AI). You will develop an understanding of how the technology works, how to prototype advanced experiences, and how to design interactions that spark joy and create meaningful outcomes.

Entry Requirements

A 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent international qualification).

We will consider applicants from all academic backgrounds, not just design. You must have a genuine interest in new technologies and be comfortable working with data. Experience of software development/coding is not necessary. We value and promote diversity of all forms on our course. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate a genuine desire to use new technologies to design better user experiences.
