Course content

This programme allows you to engage in the complex issues of space production in the dynamic Chinese context. It considers the interplay between spatial design and social, economic, environmental and political issues evident in a range of urban settings. It is taught across the Departments of Architecture and Urban Planning and Design to ensure that you receive an interdisciplinary perspective on the development of urban form.

The programme is not limited to those with architecture or urban planning backgrounds, rather it is relevant for all interested in understanding the nature and production of space. Staff teaching on the programme offer varied perspectives both in terms of disciplinary approaches and spatial understandings.

Part-time study option also available.
