Course content

We have designed this course for students wishing to make a career in the pharmaceutical industry, medical and academic fields, forensic science or any sphere in which a knowledge of toxicology is desirable.

Your studies will involve a mix of traditional toxicology and an introduction to the cutting edge of research at the molecular level.

This one-year course (or two years part-time) will enable you to enrich and update your knowledge while gaining an accredited postgraduate qualification that will help you achieve progression at work.

You will be equipped with the skills to enable you to undertake individual and collaborative research in this field.

The course’s optional module allows you to choose your own area of specialty within toxicology, offering you a clear direction for further research. This could be useful for the individual project you will undertake as part of the MSc, or in your future career.

We also offer intermediate awards of a PG Diploma and PG Certificate

Toxicology (core)
Applied Toxicology (core)
Research Skills (core)
