Aimed at science and sport science graduates, or those with a background in business or management studies who are keen to pursue a sports management career, the programme makes full use of London's status as host of the 2012 Olympic Games and uses its links with national and international sport organisations. You will gain an understanding of the place of sport in the economy and society and relate business and management theories to sports activity. You will then apply that knowledge to a range of complex sports management situations including researching a particular business or management issue within a sports organisation. Modules include; Sport Economics and Finance, Sport Marketing and Sponsorship, and Sport Venue and Event Management.
