The MSc Psychotherapy and Counselling is part-time for 3 years and will be taught on one weekday evening from 4pm-9pm (day to be confirmed) and one Saturday per month (the second Saturday of the month). The course will begin with a residential weekend (date tbc).
You will increase your own self-awareness during both your professional and personal development, as you build the skills in an intellectually stimulating, learning experience which will equip you to work with people with a range of needs. BA/BSc or equivalent, 2:1 (Hons) in psychology/social sciences/health studies/arts-related subject, basic counselling skills training and/or evidence of experience of working with vulnerable adults (either employed or voluntary).
Applicants who do not have a 2:1 but do have significant relevant study and professional and personal development qualifications, relevant experience of working with vulnerable adults or young people and knowledge of key counselling skills will be considered.
Demonstration of personal and practical readiness to train as a practising psychotherapeutic counsellor .
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
Years 1 to 3 Part-time Home/EU £5,250 per year
Years 1-2 Post-masters Accreditation Programme £2,625 (Clinical practice)
