MSc Psychotherapeutic Counselling


Course Description

The course reflects the four elements of training: Theory, Counselling Skills, Professional Issues and Personal Development as outlined by the Association. The course contact hours may be counted towards meeting part of criterion 4 of the BACP Counsellor/Psychotherapist Accreditation scheme. The provision of these four elements builds on the student’s ability to function as an effective, ethically aware counsellor in a structured and coherent way.

Entry Requirements

Candidates for the MSc should have a good Honours degree. We also welcome applications from those with qualifications relevant to counselling, e.g., Registered Mental Health Nurse, Qualif
