"Improve your patient’s mobility, independence and quality of life through the clinical management of illness and injury which can affect the foot and leg"

Develop a thorough understanding of how the foot, ankle and leg can have an impact on patients’ health and how your role as a podiatrist can contribute to a person-centred model of care.

This two-year Pre-registration Masters degree will give you the knowledge and skills required to assess, diagnose and treat a variety of complaints associated with the foot and leg. You will learn about the biomechanics of movement; the effects of injury and how different illnesses can affect the health of the foot and leg.

Entry Requirements

Essential requirements
A first or second class (2:1 or 2:2) BSc Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant healthcare or health sciences discipline. Applicants who do not have a health-related degree must demonstrate evidence of biological sciences, behavioral sciences or other health professional education in their application.

Experience working in a foot health setting or other relevant clinical experience is desirable.
